Notes from APIO regarding this product:

  • Please do not leave the tailgate open while relying on the Tailgate Stopper Belt for extended periods of time
  • Please be careful when opening the tailgate in strong winds or on steep hills
  • Do not close the tailgate with the Tailgate Stopper Belt connected, it should be disconnected from the tailgate first (as per the video below)
  • Please open the tailgate slowly when in use
  • It is advised to remove the Tailgate Stopper Belt when washing the car to prevent it from getting soaked and not being able to dry off sufficiently
